Also, its 7-9 minutes from the Leon bus depot, I was headed to Madrid solo after hiking for R&R. "Nice hostel, nice vibe although there is no fridge in the kitchen, but there is a vending machine. Nice shower and comfortable bed. Free and easy to park but 10 mins drive to the centre. But there is no free parking in the city centre. Recommended."

"The location was great, however, the room was very hot and when we opened the window for air you could hear the noise from outside until 3-4 am. The bathroom was cramped too. We did not have a positive experience. "

"A surprisingly pleasant stay despite initial impressions outside and the general location. The rooms, there were 4 of us, were very spacious and had everything we needed. A nice breakfast was included. The only real negative was we didn't know there was no restaurant service Fri to Sun....we arrived Fri for 2 nights. Staff helpful."

"Checking in after 3pm was a hassle - the person at the front desk was gone and you needed to interface with a remote worker via a speaker. But it was a great place to rest while on the Camino! Close to the Cathedral and historic downtown. Overall great stay!"

"Basic, and maybe what should be expected for the price, but very noisy (a recurring theme in Spanish hotels). ‘Free’ Wi-Fi didn’t work, when this was pointed out to the proprietor, he just shrugged. That’s alright then 😂. You have to keep a sense of humour."

"I stayed here while walking the Camino. The place is really clean with nice big bathrooms and showers. I stayed a second night as well because it was so clean and comfortable."

"Very helpful staff, I can’t complain. However, the bed in my room was terrible as the mattress had a hole in it and it i did not sleep well that night. The bed in the other room was decent though. It is just a 30 min to walk to the center so it is not bad. "

"A decent hotel in the "new town" of Riano (the old one having been flooded by the dam construction). Room was large, double bed, well-equipped bathroom with toiletries. The area is quiet, safe and has views of the reservoir and mountains. My rate did not include breakfast, but it is available at 6 Euro (orange juice, coffee and toast)"
