(press and countdown type) The shower light went off in the middle of my shower and I was plunged into pitch black darkness because there are no windows in the shower room. Thankfully I remembered roughly where the switch was.. Good...

"Although the room was a supposed to be superior, it was quite small and cramped. The mini bar made a lot of noise. The evening was unseasonably warm and it was very hot in the room. Opening the window was not a great option since the hotel is located on a busy roundabout. Too warm, too cramped, too noisy…"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice casual dinner in the downstairs restaurant and a quiet stay in the hotel. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. Boltigen is a quiet little town (in May anyway, when we were there) and we were serenaded by cowbells while we waited for the train the next morning."
