"This hotel is in the argentiere town in Chamonix Mont Blanc. The bus runs up to it, even at nigh. Rooms are not large but they are comfortable enough and clean. They also offer a well priced amd yummy breakfast and a small snack daily in the afternoon of home made pastries. Closest ski area is close by either by bus or walking. "The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"An extraordinary stop over. Although we read reviews we were not quite prepared for the ascent to the top of a 1700 m mountain ! However it was worth the climb and is not to be missed. "I don’t think the property is used to having guests for short stays. It was a great spot for me to get in some amazing hikes and I loved having a kitchen to cook. The pillows were terrible- wish I had the luxury of bringing my own!"

"I stayed in Jan and we had lot of snow - probably ~60cm everywhere which was not cleaned so it was very difficult to park on the street. In this hotel I felt isolated from the town centre and cafes and shops. The hotel is very basic and my double room was tiny, too small even for a single occupant. The hot water ran out first day we came back from skiing and I had to take a cold shower after spending the whole day on snow. If I go again to Saint Gervais, which is really beautiful and charming...
