"Myself and partner had a wonderful stay and can't really complain about anything, the rooms are basic but spacious (bedroom, living room and bathroom) clean with a well maintained. The food choice was excellent, fresh and with plenty of variety. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach, and plenty of shops bars and restaurants.. although Costa Calma is more on the quite side, there are still plenty of activities around to do and see. "

"2N stay. Half board. Lovely hotel. One of the pools heated. WiFi was down the entire stay slightly annoying. Great food in the evenings fresh fish , steak, chicken etc. "

"This hotel is nice but definitely a work in progress. The staff are friendly but very limited as at times there were empty bottles and glasses left on the side for hours waiting to be collected. At the time of our visited the gym and sauna were under construction. In my opinion the safety railings should be much higher than where they currently are at waist level"

"Ich fühle mich in diesem Hotel sehr wohl.Habe nach 2022 das Hotel das 2. Mal gebucht und es nich bereut. Direkter Zugang zum langen, feinen Sandstrand, nettes Personal, bei Nachfragen wird gerne geholfen und allgemein eine sehr ruhige Anlage. Sicher gibt es etwas Renovierungsbedarf an manchen Stellen, stört mich persönlich aber nicht. Das Gesamtpaket passt für mich, ich fühle mich wohl dort. Für allein Reisende wäre eine Lösung zur Kennzeichnung des Platzes beim Abend essen und in der Bar...

"First class property with first class facilities representing excellent value for money on AI basis. The dining and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. Only downside was the aloof attitude of the reception staff on arrival and departure who were not even interested enough to ask if we enjoyed our stay. The owners need to address this as it detracts from the other excellent employees."

"Stayed at R2 Rio Calma in Nov 21. Hotel is OKish, elegant Moorish exterior but rooms would benefit from a makeover. Food was buffet and can only say average. However pools and especially the grounds were really attractive. Hotel is approx a kilometre from main sandy beech. "

"The resort is based in a very lovely place, near the beach. Pools and beaches are very clean. If you like to travel around the island, the place is great as a base. "This hotel is spotlessly clean and certainly deserves the high rating it receives from customers. The seaview room we had in the new block was amazing and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast area and food was cooked to perfection. All the staff we met from housekeeping, reception, bar and dining were exceptional. They were very professional, courteous and provided a high level of customer service that you expect to find in a 5* hotel. I would highly recommend this...
