"Con Dao is stunning and this hotel is a stroll into the town but directly across the road from the beautiful beach. We were unfortunate with the weather, too windy to go on the trips to other islands or snorkeling but did a hike in the National Park - it's not a touristy place at all, very authentic. We were given another room on arrival after we found dirty underwear and a used towel in the drawers. The rooms are huge and would have amazing views if the plot next to the hotel wasn't derelict...

"This is a unique hotel with helpful and welcoming staff and a aesthetic interior design. Rooms are clean, bathrooms have good utilities, and the area is quiet. The internet can be very sporadic, which I didn't like, but that was one of the few issues. It is a bit out of the main town for travelers without a vehicle, but it neighbors the forest, which is a good trade for views and quiet. As one of the more affordable hotels on the island, it is a good deal."

"Very updated and clean with helpful staff. Internet was poor half the time, but amenities (bathroom, bedding, etc.) very nice. Well situated in the middle of town near markets and restaurants. Would stay again."

"Staff uninterested, room ok,ish bathroom smelly at times, had lump of metal sticking out of floor, hot water not always available. Building work going on directly opposite which we were not informed about and not acknowledged by the hotel. When room key left at reception just left on counter for anyone to pick up Would not book again. "
