"Never saw or heard another guest. Had to call from the street for the manager to come and give me the key. The hotel desk was never staffed--not once. No ameneties at all. No telephones in the rooms or lobby. Wifi--yes. They gave me a key to enter from the street. The room and maid service were fine. If the rest of Soria hadn't been sold out, I would have chosen another place to stay. At best, this is a hostal, but minus most hostal services. "

"Could not access property upon arrival. supposed to have staff at front desk for check-in from 1 - 5. Arrived 1:30, no one on duty, no one answered intercom by front door. Finally got response an hour later. No one actually on duty the whole two days we were there. WiFi goes down at least twice per day, sometimes for hours while we ry to contact someone to fix it. "The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. Having specifically booked a place with bar and restaurant it is very annoying to have to traipse around finding something to eat after a day's travelling. "

"I stayed in the Sercotel for a week when I arrived in Soria to teach English. Overall, my stay was pleasant and comfortable.
