"Nice 'historic' hotel on the outskirts of the centre of Canberra; walking distance into town but the rental escooters are handy too. Easy walking distance to the War Memorial and Mt Ainslie trails."

"I booked a one-bedroom apartment suite for a 4 night stay. The suite was spacious and had a lovely balcony to sit out on, a small kitchen with a decent sized fridge and everything you might need to be reasonably self-sufficient. The staff were extremely helpful at every turn. The bar downstairs has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The only negative was the bathroom shower which was in urgent need of renewal. Definitely not up to 5* standard in its current state and not properly clean on arrival....

"Medical stay whilst husband a patient in National Capital Private Hospital. Convenient location, Coles supermarket within 2-3 min drive plus cafes, restaurants. On site restaurant is only for room service. Unit was well appointed, clean, functional, good parking. "
