"Liked the convenience of easy-on, and easy off I-91. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and fixtures were like new. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was forgettable. Nothing fancy. But they did have hot waffles. All the staff were helpful and friendly. This is a no-frills roadside motel priced affordably. Glad I stayed at the Putney Inn. "

"My husband and I had spent the weekend here and we enjoyed our stay overall. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the roomy shower. Lots of options for breakfast! Our only complaint is that the room needs brighter lighting and I wish housekeeping hadn't woke us up even though we had the do not disturb card on our door. "

I was most amazed at not only the timely clearing of the parking lots well before 7 am from 6 inches of snow, but also at then clearing the snow of all the vehicles parked there! "Good communication prior to stay. Waited for about 12 minutes for someone to come give us our key and show our room on arrival. No temp control in room didn’t bother us though. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Full access to kitchen/fridge/etc. very thin walls. Heard noise from laundry room and adjacent rooms bathroom fans as well as footsteps. The owner is very friendly and nice. It is a nice place for family/group. Lots of areas to hang out. Beautiful views. Overall nice...
