"We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had left a nightlight/charger in the bathroom and 2 days later after I realized we had left it, I was able to recover it. We decided to stay longer in Celestún than originally planned. We needed to change to a different hotel because Don Gonzalo’s does not take credit cards. Cash only. "Very nice, needed to pay with cash. Restaurants do the same. Ask first. Beautiful view from portal. Best part."

"Easy parking right in front of the room with a gate to protect the car. Very safe area. Across the street from the beach. WiFi and AC. Only thing to note is you cannot pay with a credit card for the room once you get there, only cash. So make sure to pay beforehand and bring a record of the receipt "

"Simple , very clean, comfortable small hotel on a beautiful quiet beach. Our second time staying here and we will be back again. Rooms have a small fridge/freezer, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, fan and a/c. There are lounge chairs and palaplas on the sand. Very quiet and relaxing . "
