"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet.
