"The staff was friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and nice! The only negatives for us were... the very high level of chlorine in the pool (but maybe they had recently shocked the pool), the small TV in the room (but it was not noticeable once we started watching a movie), and broken glass in the parking lot (which I may not have noticed if I wasn't walking my dog)"

"Easy check-in with gracious front desk personnel. Plenty of parking. Well-lit area and very clean. The bed was so comfortable, room was ckean and new, sheets were soft, tv worked, refrigerator worked and was clean, great water pressure with soft towels. It was a wonderful stay. Only glitch was super-loud sex in the room above me at 1:47 a.m. but it was fairly short-lived and made me laugh. Otherwise, the hotel was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again. Brrakfast was decent, too. "

"My wife and I stay in Ely City twice a year. We previously stayed elsewhere, but that place had become run down and tired. The manager also became rude and nasty. Time to find a different place. We tried the Flamingo Inn and we've been coming back every year. The place is filled with route 66 charm. It is clean and the manager pleasant. It is also much cheaper than where we had been staying. My wife and I are looking forward in staying here for years to come."

"We were placed at the end of the hall near the exit, which made it easy to walk my two dogs. There’s plenty of grassy area outside and I felt safe walking them at night. I had a problem with my reservation, which was Expedia’s fault not the property’s. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful in trying to rectify the situation. "Debbie is as sweet as they come. She goes above and beyond to help. BUT Room 138 had a flooded bathroom and holes burned in the bedding. Moved to 139. The room is horrible. There was no hot water at all. Poor Debbie had to work a double because no one came to relieve her. She was so tired this morning, she fell asleep and didn't get coffee going. This is no way to run a motel. "

"The property is poorly maintained. Windows were left unlocked to the room I rented. The linens were soiled. The room advertised a microwave. The microwave was in non working condition and when I asked the clerk I was directed to the nearest convenience store to heat up my food. If it were possible I'd request a full refund and that Expedia reconsiders offering this establishment "
