"This property was wonderfully convenient to the bus and train stop…I mean within 2-3 minutes. That was so nice. And it was clean and the door locked and we had the things we needed. Ausserberg was very quiet with nothing going on in the evenings and no restaurants or anything. There was a small grocery spot but it was closed. But, it did have cool old buildings. "Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful.
