"The hotel is beautiful and very convenient. There was some noise in the middle of the night from a garbage truck emptying a dumpster behind the hotel (I may just be a light sleeper). The nozzle handle to the shower was also not fully cleaned as there was dried mucus on one side of it. Besides those two things, the hotel was great!"

"We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. "We enjoyed our quick visit to New Bern. Easy, personal check-in. We walked downtown to dinner, about 15 or 20 minutes, depending on where you want to go. The unit is recently updated. Very comfortable. Everything you need for a nice stay is included. So quiet in that neighborhood. The train track is nearby, so there is an occasional train that you will hear. We would be happy to stay there again. "

"I have stayed at many VRBO properties and always been very happy with the bookings. However, although this home was beautiful there were certain things we were unhappy about. The house was not stocked with the usual supplies, no cleaning supplies, no dishwasher detergent, no bathroom supplies, etc. The master bathroom was beautiful but the upstairs bathrooms really need some updating. There was someone living permanently over the garage (which we didn’t know about) and we felt odd sitting...

"Neat decorations tying to vintage music! The room itself was very clean and worked perfectly for my need, which was quick and easy access to downtown New Bern for a cycling event. Well run establishment, friendly owner and staff! Would stay here again."
