"Meadowcliff Lodge is THE place to stay in the area. Clean, safe, amazing onsite amenities (pool, horseshoes, playground, wonderful walking sites). Located in a stunningly beautiful area - we stayed in the hotel with a "mountain facing" room - spectacular. Great restaurant "Coachwhip Cafe" next door with yummy, gourmet food. Will be returning!"

"What an interesting place! This is an old hotel, moved from the nearby ghost town. There are a few rooms, each having their own charm. Everything was clean and worked, which is important in an older property. In the back of the upstairs, was a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave and a coffee maker. There is a room with a tv downstairs. It's a cute, quirky little place. I really enjoyed my stay! "

"Such a short stay it’s difficult to review. Fun 50’s vibe. Management is remodeling after last year’s devastating fires, but honestly couldn’t tell if our room was a remodel or not! It was comfortable but bare-boned. The walls are paper thin, and our neighbor next to us had her TV on until 4 am. The BBQ place right across the highway was a great find! We’d definitely give them a second chance next time we travel that way."
