"The Sofitel Munich is an impressive hotel in a historic building, offering a wonderful experience overall. The room was superb, combining comfort and elegance. The Isa Bar in the hotel is a true highlight—cozy, welcoming, and with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. However, the restaurant was a disappointment. While the food was good, the ambiance was underwhelming—uninspired décor and a noisy environment that didn’t match the hotel’s five-star status....

"This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Munich. Close to the metro. Safe neighbourhood. Good restaurants close by. What we loved were the roomy suites. Perfect for a tall family. Storage. Beautiful bathrooms. Sweetest, funniest clerk at reception. The beds could be a little less firm but overall okay. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich. Loved it"

"I stayed here twice. The first room I had I loved. Everything was very clean. The second room I got was extremely dirty. No trash can instead a big white bucket. Room was not clean and no towels. The shower needs some work. The water gets everywhere and floods. Breakfast and coffee was great. "

"The property is a one minute walk away from the subway station, which is amazing, but it’s located in an area without much in the way of restaurants or places to walk to. We stayed during the holidays, and the restaurant was closed, during the holidays, the little supermarket was also closed so we had to get on the subway into town in order to get something to eat. There’s a coffee maker in the room, which is fabulous, but no coffee is provided, I also didn’t recognize the kind of pod that would...
