"When growing up, my family used to summer at the Crestmont in an Eagles Mayor PA. It was a turn-of-the-century haven for Philadelphia. This place had exactly the same feel; the same windows; beds; doors, etc. The foyer had an eclectic feel: there was a BMW chassis at the check-in. It didn't take away from the place but I don't think it added to it either. We got one of the larger rooms with the sitting room and it was wonderful. All modern conveniences worked well. "For the cost paid, this hotel was nice but would not be my choice in the future. I have to say up front, the people who worked at this hotel were amazing. We were greeted with such kindness and they went out of their way to assist us in any way. However, the overall appearance of the hotel was nice but nothing extraordinary. "Everything was great except the required valet parking! I was under the impression when booking there would be free parking. When I asked the front desk staff about this, they basically said there is but its a $39 fee charged to my card at the end... so not free. "
