"This hotel is a hidden gem. I love it so much I almost don’t want to review it so it doesn’t get too booked. The rooms are large and well appointed with TV, microwave, and mini fridge. Most importantly they are pristinely clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and highly efficient. The location is perfect and parking is on site and garaged. You absolutely cannot beat this value. I am a repeat guest—anytime I am in Oakland for business, this is where I stay. "

"We were going to a show at the Oakland Arena and the La Quinta is very close so we could walk and miss the traffic and parking fee. The staff was very nice, room was clean, free breakfast, free on site parking and pet friendly. The area around the hotel seemed sketchy and a police officer warned us to be very careful while walking."

The breakfast was a basic continental type and it was around a 49mins walk to the Levi’s Stadium and around a 35mins walk from the nearest train station which I got from San Francisco city. Theres a 7eleven very close and a bar by but not an awful lot else. It suited my needs for what I needed it for. There was also a swimming pool which would be good for sunnier/warmer days "
