"The rooms are definitely cozy, clean, and smoke free. The bathroom and shower space is beautifully renovated even the front office is absolutely stunning. The hotel grounds was clean there was a exxon station walking dustance of next door. Front office clerk and im assuming owner was friendly and accomodating even when my key didnt work on first try. The atmosphere upon arrival was friendly and welcoming. Beds are soft, shower temp as hot as i typically enjoy, TV Carried nice channel selections....

"There was nothing exciting about the motel. The front desk staff was great. The room itself was clean but needed updating. We found that the pillow cases hadn't been changed so we bought new sheets and pillowcases for the bed not knowing whether the rest was cleaned."

"The night clerk was horrible upon arrival early am 5/26/17. There was a mix up with the name on the reservation because my sister arrived earlier than me. So she switched the reservation to Jackson therefore when I arrived asked for the reservation in Murdaugh unaware of this. The night clerk was very, very rude in trying to solve the problem. At this point, because she was so nasty I returned the unkindness. If this were my property I would not have her representing my property."

"The hotel looked shady from the get go. The toilet had to be fixed when we got there and couldn’t change rooms he is e”there wasn’t another room available”. Found a couple bed bugs on the sheets and the cover on the other bed looked as if it had dry blood on it. Also it’s not the Hotel Aiken that you’re staying at, but the Holley House. May want to change that on your site. Overall an unpleasant experience to say the least. "
