"This was just an overnight stay in the provincial capital to meet friends for dinner and hang out a bit, as our home is about 30km away from town. The hotel is decent, a bit dated in design and décor but clean and like most Phayao hotels very inexpensive by Western standards. There are shops and a few small restaurants in the immediate area, and the Kwan Phayao lakefront is almost walking distance, though we didn't go to the lake as recent flooding in the area meant some restaurants were closed....

"The hotel is in a great location, next to the lake, and we had a great view from the VIP room at the front of the hotel. The hotel has a car park. The VIP room was very spacious with a lounge area and bedroom. It’s a great location for the the boat trip across the lake and for walking along the lakeside. Breakfast was basic but fine. "

"Clean"

"This hotel seems ordinary as a 3-star hotel but the staff is exceptional. The location is great for a night market walking distance on the weekend( I am not sure whether there is a night market on Monday through Friday.) Great shopping both food and others for souvenirs."

"The property is no longer anything like the pictures. The pool was green with algae. The cafe food is only available till 5 pm but the hours are not posted. After that you are told to eat at 7 Eleven."

"Very nice place to stay … clean, well maintained, great pool. The only drawback, which is a small thing, was that free drinking water was not provided. Water was 15 baht for a small bottle. "

"The location is great, just opposite Kwan-Payao - the biggest natural freshwater lake in Thailand (if I'm not mistaken). The room is alright, not the best but not too bad. The breakfast is superior. It was served on a short round table with at least 8 northern style dishes including steamed sticky rice, northern thai sausage, fried crispy pork skin, fresh fruits, etc. More than a filling breakfast!
