"Pros: a very basic room, comfortable and clean. Quite. Close to many dining options and shopping. Good breakfast. Easy check out. Friendly staff Cons: no onsite parking- some on street parking and parking garage nearby (decent price). really wasn't too bad -there was no one at the desk for check-in, it seemed odd. we had received an e-mail with the door code to get in the building and our key was in the room. "A very nice hotel in a quet location with large garden, tennis, cycling and swimming pool etc. Has a lovely dining room and the food was excellent. The hostess put a lot of effort into assuring that her guests needs were attended to without delay. At the off peak rate this was outstanding value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will definetly stay there again the next time I am passing through the region."

"I was hacked off both with the hotel and with hotels.com. Upon our arrival, we found that this hotel was closed up and evidently no longer trading. The reception door was not just locked but chained up. There was no-one around. No furniture in reception and litter on the floor. Telephoned but the call was rejected. Had to find another hotel urgently. This was despite hotels.com sending me the usual e-mail a few days before reminding us of our booking and wishing me a good stay. I only hope that...
