"This is a nice place. The owner was incredibly helpful when he learned that I had lost my luggage on the bus. He called the bus company to ask them to help find it. And I enjoyed talking with him about the local area, which he knows a lot about. "

"A charming hotel with good parking facilities. The room was superb and very clean. Very convenient for the town. If you have heavy baggage, this hotel might not be for you as there isn’t a lift. Ask for one of the lower floor rooms. We were on the third but our bags were light so not an issue. Overall, a great stay and one we would recommend."

"Perfect location right opposite the main ski lift and next door to a ski hire shop. Breakfast is good and there is a generous sized guest lounge on the top floor and ski store in the basement. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the last and cheapest room on the first floor , it was just above a bar which played music until 11.30 every night - fortunately we liked their playlist. "Excellent value and location. We were hikers looking for a decent hotel for one night and this hotel was perfect. The room at the back of the hotel had a great view of the citadel, which was a bonus. The rooms are being renovated so I have no doubt that this will be an even better place to stay in future.
