"Location: Very close to food and McD and other shopping area. Almost next door to the Hillwood Park. Close to the Edinburgh Zoo. About 15min drive to the city centre. Yet it is located in a residential area. Facility: Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with tea and coffee and sugar and salt. There’s a welcome drink as well. All basic utensils are available. There’s a washer. But no dryer. Everything is as listed. Bathroom: Very clean. Nice towels. But no toiletries were...

"Likes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs. There is a good bus service into Edinburgh city centre. Dislikes - my room overlooked the neighbouring restaurant so early evening was a bit noisy. "

"Lovely large room in a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants and public transport very close by, walkable to the city centre if you prefer. Large entertainment complex nearby with cinema, bowling etc. staff are very friendly and continental breakfast included with a sufficient amount of choice. Beds are comfortable and all your basics needed included in the room with tea/coffee facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. "

"The Lane Apartment is beautiful, modern, comfortable and convenient. Just off a main road with all amenities and a 25’ walk to the historic centre of Edinburgh, yet so quiet. It’s modern, well kept and would definitely be using again. "

"False advertising about parking, there is no onsite parking which is the main reason I choose this hotel. I had to park on the street which is £5/hour or park on the other side of the city. When I asked about the parking I was given a pre-made parking sheet to tell me what to search on google. I didn’t like this false advertising and found it very disappointing "

"Not “charming” in any way! Photos of kitchen very deceptive. Broken toilet seat, ripped carpets, peeling paint, dirty entryway. Bedding was clean, location convenient, quiet at night. Just don’t expect it to feel like the photos make it appear. "
