"Nice spot about 35 minutes drive from Gunnedah, very popular with a variety of groups ranging from fishermen to grey nomads and anybody in between including young families camping. The air conditioned cabins are quite large and well designed. Our cabin had an ensuite bathroom so we did not use the amenities block. "The cabin is very dated, except the kitchenette. It had an odd odour, curtains were old and I cringed having to touch them. Couch cushions were ripped and stained and very uncomfortable. There was animal hair all over. The cabin suited it's purpose but not very nice. I would not stay again unless no other option"

"We had a very comfortable 3 night stay at this motel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and bedding, bathroom was clean and fresh. Surprisingly even though right a main road it is a nice quiet motel. Don't let the name 'budget' make you think twice. Highly recommended and definitely would stay again."
