"Wonderful hotel and an excellent breakfast. The owners are super people and treat their guests as family. We had a mountain-facing balcony view that was absolutely stunning. Some guests mentioned the WiFi and it’s true that it comes and goes in and out; however, downstairs in the bar area, the signal is very strong. So, if you plan on hiding out in your room and streaming videos, etc, don’t count on it. If that’s not the case, we highly recommend this hotel. "

"Our stay at Hotel Piaz was fine. Parking was easy and so was our check in process. We went into one room and the shower door was broken so the very helpful front desk lady let us switch to a new room. It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve stayed at, but from here we visited Seceda, Vallunga, and Ortisei. It wasn’t dirty, just a little dingy and could maybe use a remodel. "Located in a lovely scenic position high up on a hill side, the property is staffed by wonderfully hospitable people determined to make our stay memorable. To our surprise, the property had a small pool and exercise area as well as games area. The recommendation of a nearby restaurant was spot on (5 minute walk) plus a great breakfast also kept us well fed. The only concerns are that the property is a bit of a drive off the main motorway and the wifi was slow. But those are small concerns...

"Because I don’t speak Italian or German, checking un was a challenge. The receptionist behaved as if I was the one at fault for not finding a common language. After taking our passports and handing me a key, she left abruptly without indicating the location of the room. The room itself was nice. The on site restaurant was very good, but very under staffed (maybe because it was Italian Liberatiin Day, a holiday). Breakfast and parking were fine. The Wifi did not work during our entire stay....
