It was very convenient drive to base and the town of Elgin is lovely."

" Very nice, with the exception of the detached 50-60 foot distance to the outdoor Water Closet in the rain and no steps in which to gain access and the lack of a better water delivery/waste system in the kitchen otherwise it was quite enjoyable. Situations that could be addressed were taken care of promptly. "

"First and foremost, the desk clerk, Glen, was absolutely wonderful. Very understanding and patient. He upgraded our room to an interior entrance to make us feel safe, but... the first room smelled musty and the heater was extremely loud, so he moved us, but... The heater did not work and baby roaches were all over the nightstand. We did not even set our suitcases down before walking out! We were able to get a refund and in the future I will do more research before booking a room! "
