"We chose this hotel because of the good reviews and the recommendation in the Lonely Planet guide, and we were not disappointed. Exactly as many other reviews, we found the hotel and room was comfortable, modern, stylish and spotlessly clean. We had an exceptionally warm welcome and great service from the friendly owners. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice including local delicacies. The views of the mountain were lovely. "

"Staid Aug 22-29, 2023 with family in 2 bedroom apartment. Very friendly staff, we felt home away from home. Very clean cozy apartment fit well into our vacation needs. Breakfast was prepared by heart with variety of food in Greek style. Also, across the street 40 Platania restaurant with excellent Greek traditional food, excellent services and atmosphere. Definitely would come back and recommend. "

"I loved Hotel Katia. The staff were lovely and the area was amazing. The room was much bigger than expected given the price, we had a full veranda and spacious room. "Our standard room was very comfortable, the family running the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms and breakfast terrace look out over the pretty and well-kept garden with flowers and palm trees, a sand and gravel beach (good for swimming and the hotel has free loungers and sun umbrellas available) and the island of Evia across the sea. It's just fine - and good value - as it is but a little updating and a upgrading of breakfast ingedients would be enough easily to deserve a 9 plus...
