"This is an older property that needs updating. They have a great pool-hot tub area, but sadly the hot tub was cold when we got in it. The room we stayed in was small, dated, and in need of some repairs, but it was clean, and the beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. They did have a nice sized breakfast area with a great array of breakfast choices. Mixed feelings about this hotel."

"Booked a room with disability access and it was wonderful. Plenty of room in the bathroom, easy access and a bathing chair in the shower, nothing to slip on or try and get over. Breakfast was better than most motels. The room was clean, clean, clean!"

"Nice clean hotel, stayed here 3 nights during a hunting trip with the kids. The standard room was very clean and big, more than plenty of room for our coolers and extra luggage. Fridge, microwave, & huge parking lot. Only cons - breakfast wasnt much (didn't need it anyways brought our own) & hot tub/pool room was out of commission"

"Was very disappointed to find the pool was closed. Room could've been cleaner but the employees were lovely and the breakfast was good. "

"Hotel is adequate for the price. Room was spacious and comfortable. Water pressure in shower was wonderful. Continental breakfast was inadequate with limited offerings even very early in the morning. Sunday was a bit better with a fruit and yogurt available at least. It appears that guests are expected to be content with dry cereal and toast."

"The room was very comfortable. Nice and clean. Would have been.nice to.have a coffee maker in the room since the diner wasn't open. Cute diner, but did not have employees for it. We would have eaten there if it would have been an option."

"We were all very impressed. The only thing that may concern renters is that the owner lives on site on the third floor. She was a wonderfully kind and generous woman, but that might be a put off for some people renting."

"We loved our visit! A group of college friends gathered for the weekend. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the living room area with couches and room to gather. We loved being near the lake. Robin was extremely helpful, kind, and quick with communication. Thank you!!!"

Quick trips into town for the wedding we were attending... ease of access to I94 as well as all the goodness that Alex has to offer. Owner was readily accessible and quickly responded to messages... Overall, exceeded our expectations. Our kids mentioned that they will probably be back in the future! "

"Legacy lakeside resort was fantastic! There's trails to walk, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, nice beach, clean, very comfy beds, quiet and relaxing. There's also a cool game room, grills, fish cleaning station. We will definitely be coming back! It's our new favorite place to go! Staff were very helpful and kind too!! "
