"Kafen Hotel was a really nice and relaxing stay on a well maintained and landscaped property. The room I stayed in the largest of their Bubble rooms and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The only thing I disliked was all of the hair I found all over the room. As many have stated there is no hot water but I managed. Overall I had a great experience and there was a nice amount of things to do in the area."

The sheets on the bed were dirty and wet , they didn’t have enough blankets, they did a bait and switch where they wouldn’t let me check in unless I paid a higher amount in cash And the person told me that they have other guests that they will give the room if I don’t pay higher amount ($50 vs $42 that was on the booking). The room was dirty, the shower was not working , they ran out of drinking water. The blankets they gave had dirt and hair stuck on them. They also...

"The location is not in downtown, so you’ll need to take Bus or car to get to Juayúa. It is a beautiful spot with many trees and a nice building. No AC. Our room had a strange odor, maybe an insecticide applied to the sofa? No screen on window, otherwise would’ve been a pleasant breeze as the evening air is wonderfully refreshing."
