"We stayed for 1 night en route to Cefalu. It's quite off the beaten track with some windy roads. Our room was clean and tidy, basic but spacious with air conditioning! However, we asked for some food as we arrived in the evening, and whilst the small plates of tapas were enjoyable, the Manager proceeded to charge us €15 each (€30 total) for some ham, tomato and mozzarella, bread, aubergine and a bottle of water. "Great verandah to sit on with beachside decorations. Excellent breakfast served by helpful owner. Garden of cacti and bare earth. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable although hot water took ages to come through. Easy walk to beach which is nice for a swim. Only 10 mins drive to Valley of Temples or centre of San Leone where there are lots of restaurants."

"The host was there on the street to greet me as I arrived. Nice spacious room on Main Street - mid way between bus and train station - perfect for a visit to Valley of the Temples. ONly issue was mini bar was not working but he let me use the one in the breakfast room & was very generous with use of that room and cutlery. Gorgeous view from top floor balcony looking over Valley of the Temples to the ocean beyond!"
