"Check in was good with a friendly helpful lady and the included breakfast was excellent although we did have to take it next door at the Campanile hotel next door so I do not know what it would have been like on site. However the room was not particularly very good, worst of all it smelt of urine !!! "

"We booked this as an overnight stay on our way from the uk to Italy. We knew it would be basic … but it was actually little more than a hostel. We hadn’t realised that the rooms didn’t have even basic en suites, and the shared toilets and showers (you have to pay for towels and toiletries or bring your own) were pretty grim. There was a horrible damp smell everywhere and the bedrooms were dark and hot. No air con and windows that only opened a crack and then let in the mosquitos. And the noise...
