"Stayed one night as a stop to take the bernina express. My best description I can say is that it was okay, it provided everything you need to spend the night but it isn’t anything out of the world. The property is on an old style home is a little rustic. So it can feel a little dated. I must say however that it was very clean and the staff was quite helpful and nice. It was a great location with a walkable distance to restaurants and more importantly was a 10 mins from the train station"

"Arosa is a quaint town and beautiful. Nestled in the mountains. The views are stunning and the weather and temperature very comfortable however higher elevation = greater UV and greater chances of sunburn. The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. "Great staff, good food, beautiful views. The private Tschuggen Express cable car is extremely convenient and takes you right to all the hiking trails. Pass for all the Arosa cable cars is included. Only small drawback for the summer, is there is no AC, but it's perfectly safe to just keep the balcony door open at night to cool the room down."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. "Beautiful newly renovated hotel right next to the train station. Super friendly staff. Had one of the best European breakfasts I've had. Also they have a spa but we didn't have time to enjoy it. I highly recommend this place!"
