"The hotel is in a quiet area easily accessed from main roads and walkable to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were a good size, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The pool area was a great space in which to relax and best of all the pool was large enough to swim laps. I very much enjoyed my stay. "

"This place is truly a gem! The location was wonderfully off-the-beaten-track, making it seem even more of an oasis. The short walk to the beach was fun, and the beach itself was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, with jambon, fresh fruit and warm, fresh baked bread. We can't wait to return. Ideally located for exploring the Costa Brava."

The highlight of my experience in Girona? Walking the Passeig de la Muralla at sunset, hands down. My first afternoon in Catalunya's second biggest city, I stumbled upon these walls with an acquaintance from my hostel, just southeast of the Plaça Catalunya. The views are simply stunning. I just had to return on my final night to try and catch the sunset, despite the catch-and-go torrential downpours that afternoon. I highly recommend this Catalan town; in less than a few hours, it became one of my new favorite cities in Spain.
