After all we are 78 years old ladies traveling alone. Great experience.The location is 1 block from the mall. Taxis were very inexpensive. "

"The Casablanca Hotel has a very collegial staff who take a lot of pride in the property. The hotel has a dining area with a microwave and an electric kettle that makes breakfast easy, and a spot where you can make a cup of coffee when you want. I was especially impressed with the housekeeping staff. Everyone spoke to this 73 old solo traveler and made me feel welcome. This is a quiet hotel in the middle of everything like fruit vendors, bakeries, and walks to La Rambla de Montevideo, and...

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Any problems were quickly sorted out. Great location for visiting the old town All within walking distance. Supermarkets close, and heaps of restaurants and eating places. Great wee pool and deck on roof."

"It was easy to walk to the coast or old town center, or take a bus anywhere else. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a convenient and quick laundry service. The room was comfortable and clean although it was on the smaller side. Breakfast included a variety of food options and was reasonably priced (it was included with some reservations but not mine). Overall I had a great experience."
