"Have stayed here over the years without any problems, but this time around not so good. Clothes and shoes stolen by another traveler who left early in the morning without checking out. Although they knew who it was they didn’t want to get involved themselves but suggested I deal with it myself with the tourist police. So I’m guessing that their good name as a hostel means nothing to them. P.s. while I was out buying replacements. The hostel cleaners helped themselves to my food and drinks(3)...

"Perfect hotel for a short stay (we stayed 3 nights) - pretty basic but great value for money, quiet, good location close to a supermarket and not far from the bus stop in to town. The only think we went keen on was the shower area was VERY slippery and could have done with a slip mat. "

"Be aware that as of March 2025 ongoing roadworks is happening in the street that the property is on. They did email after the room was booked and gave me the option to cancel. It would be better to know this information before booking rather than after booking. It would be useful to have a mat by the entrance to the mainHallway to brush sand off shoes before entering building. There is a communal kitchen in the reception area where you can make teas and coffees, etc and take them to your room....

"The room is small but comfortable for one-maybe two. The shower is small and for a person bigger than my 5’10” 200 lb self I think that would be very uncomfortable. "Very satisfied on the whole with the property and our stay. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff were great and it is very convenient for the city. Only a few small issues :- The walls/doors didn't offer much sound insulation so you here noise at times. Also, the curtains in our room were white and thin, so light came in. At times there seemed to be issues with power. This was easy resolved, but would have been better if it hadn't happened at all."
