"We stayed for a two night stay and we had to wait 45 minutes to get the key in a snowstorm. The apartment was functional but that's about it. The toilet seat was broken as was the table leg. It is a good walk up the hill and it only has oil fired plug in heaters and the heating was insufficient for the extreme temperatures in February. These apts are cheap but not that cheerful."

Would recommend trying to get a pass to take the parador up to the hostel, as it's quite a trek from the bus station if you're dragging a suitcase. Room was perfect and excellent value. Clean, warm, , plenty of room for storage and hanging, powerful shower. Wide variety of food for breakfast to get you...

"Most of it was great. Simple accommodation, but very clean room and bathroom. A small problem only: the bedside lamp didn't work. We only noticed late at night, otherwise the owners would have fixed it straight away, I am sure."
