"Brilliant from start to finish, from the wee man at the front door doing the complimentary valet parking to the waiting staff was exceptional, the food was just beautiful in all the restaurants especially the Castle kitchen restaurant and the added bonus was the transport to the castle , excellent!!!! The spa and thermal village is just amazing even in January!!!! We will definitely return in the not too distant future, 5 star !"

"Hugh car park at rear of this hotel leading into a warm well lit reception. Location overlooking the sea was perfect. Rooms were a great size. Beds comfortable and excellent selection of tea and coffee with delicious shortbread biscuit each. The bathroom had everything you needed including soft tissues Great choice at breakfast for cooked and continental breakfast in an uncluttered open room. All staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations "

"Stay was lovely and very good price. Unfortunately the view from the room at the rear of the hotel was dreadful, a fence erected on a wall 2 feet away. It made the room feel claustrophobic This was particularly disappointing on a night the hotel was empty. Otherwise pleased with stay and breakfast was lovely with a good selection of both hot and cold food. "

" My wife and i were told this was a good hotel so we tried it out.we found the staff very friendly delivering an excellent service.the room was v.clean and comfortable as was the rest of the hotel.the food was excellent.we were more than pleased and we are looking forward to staying in this hotel again in the near future."

"We received a warm welcome during our overnight stay. Hotel room was spotless but a little cold. Temperature couldn't be raised above a set point of 21°c and was quite cold when the heating went off during the night. We dined at the hotel which was good but again public areas were cold. It was bitterly cold but hey it's the winter and we'd expect public areas to be heated to a conformable level without the need for a coat. When we entered the bedroom there was a stench coming from the shower...

Amazing family getaway

"Absolutely loved this pod. Stayed as family 2 ad and 2 ch. Place was soo clean on arrival and soo well layed out. Bathroom was far bigger than you would think with lovely white towels and complimentary toiletries. Bunk beds were fab, kids loved them and plenty of room in the bottom one for a tall 11 yo. The murphy bed was amazing , it just appears from the wall and is most definitely one of the comfiest beds i have slept in. Surrounded by fields with cows for neighbours and alpacas and chicken's just up the path. Would love to have stayed longer but will definitely be booking again 😍"
