When we refused and showed we had paid in full, suddenly we were informed the lift was broken. Rooms are tiny and not as described. Cupboards couldn’t even be opened because the room is so small. "We had a very enjoyable stay at the Phaedra Hotel! It was simple but clean and comfortable. It was in the heart of the Plaka, and yet it was quiet enough to sleep at night. It was convenient to shops and dining, and a short walk to the Acropolis. In fact, the hotel has a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Acropolis. My husband and I took our lunch up there one afternoon. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely recommend it."
