"Great Location for a tourist."

"Basic, budget hotel within easy walking distance of Girona's old town. Reception is not 24 hours. Unfortunately, during my stay, the fire alarm went off at around 3am, which was very inconvenient. I was told the next morning that this was due to someone smoking in their room, but there was no offer of compensation or acknowledgement of the inconvenience, which was disappointing."

"We love this hotel - the staff are lovely, it’s clean, has parking, it’s close to the beach and a nice walk to the shops, bars and restaurants."

"The check in was at the sister hotel and their lobby looked really nice. Hotel Hanoi is quite basic but conveniently located close the main streets of begur. We parked at a parking lot down the road where it was 3 euros a day or free if no one was there to monitor. I didn't love our room because the bathroom was very small, dark (no light into the shower at all) and smelled strongly of sewage. "

"Nice and clean but they should update their details/services because there is no more share fridge, no share microwave and the bar/restaurant (with breakfast available as they say on the website) is closed for good. Was a disappointment for us. And not having these services anymore I think it is overpriced for what you get."

"The apartment was clean but lacked any soap, shampoo, dishsoap or other cleaning products, which staff refused to provide. There is no AC and no fans are provided. The beds were of poor quality, one broke when someone lied down, however it was replaced quickly. Staff is friendly and responsive on WhatsApp, but there is no way to talk to someone on the phone, and there is no staff working in person at the hotel. We received text messages ahead of our arrival with an address to pick up the keys,...

"This place is truly a gem! The location was wonderfully off-the-beaten-track, making it seem even more of an oasis. The short walk to the beach was fun, and the beach itself was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, with jambon, fresh fruit and warm, fresh baked bread. We can't wait to return. Ideally located for exploring the Costa Brava."
