"This is the second time iā€™ve stayed at this hotel due to itā€™s convenient location near Porta Susa. Itā€™s very clean, the staff is helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The room is small, but perfectly adequate for a nightā€™s stay passing through. The tram could be heard through the closed window."

"The Hotel Albergo Alba is right downtown Turin within steps of all the sights. There a number of steps and levels that need to be climbed before you get to a tiny elevator. This hotel will not work for someone with handicaps. We had an apartment and it was clean and orderly. You can't beat the price for such a location. "

"Quite a horrible experience. Would have left if hadn't pre paid. Most particularly due to security concerns and because of the outrageous price for what was essentially a room in a hostel full of immigrant families. (Not their fault!) It was decribed on hotels.com in grandiose terms which it did not live up to. No staff spoke english (fairly unusual if you run a hotel in a major city)and seemed bemused someone had booked a room. Or about whether it had been paid for. The room was 3 floors up...
