She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "Stunning castle and grounds, nicely appointed with very traditional furnishings. Well maintained. Grégoire, his wife and family were gracious hosts - we felt most welcome during our week-long stay. We stayed in the old block and small tower, away from the main tower. Some may find the accommodation a bit spooky, we did, but after the first night we found it added to the adventure. The pool was very pleasant, around 27 or 28degrees so perfect temperature. In the immediate surrounding area...

The pool is heated, convenient short walk from our room and the surrounding spa and amenities are outstanding. "The hotel was beautiful and the staff beyond helpful.. Location was perfect in a beautiful street close to the main square and walking distance to everything. But you must be aware that its a small city ad taxi service is limited... i had to walk to the hotel from the train station and also on my way back.. all the taxis.were fully booked.. 1.4 km not bad but.with a suitcase is not fun... this not the hotel's fault... but you must be aware (the same is i guess for all hotels) "
