"I went to Paris for a week alone. At first I wasn't sure about this hotel as it's in the 19th arrondissment but I LOVED it here. It's less touristy but so charming. There is a grocery store on one corner and a bakery on another. The street behind the hotel opens up to a canal with house boats and charming cafes. I like Cafe Gina. There's even a yoga studio behind the hotel. The metro is close and you are right near Montmartre and Pere La Chaise. Line 7 takes you to all the other hot spots. It was great value. The staff are super friendly. The area felt safe ( granted I'd take a taxi if I was out late for door to door service). I would stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Belle Ville in Paris. It was 20 mins outside of the major tourist area in Paris. It is right next to Metro station Porte des Lilas and was very convenient to get to our destinations. The staff was so friendly, spoke English, and it was my son's birthday, they wrote him a sweet card and gave him cookies. It made him feel very special. The hotel and room was clean, stocked with water, coffee and tea. There isn't a refrigerator, but it was cold enough outside, that we left our drinks on the balcony, so it wasn't an issue. My only issue was the lighting. It wasn't great in the bathroom, and made it challenging when putting on makeup. The restaurant is pizza and really good pizza! It was always buzzing at lunch and dinner. I would stay here again. Thank you to the staff with making our stay so enjoyable! "

"This apartment is perfect for a family. You can cook if you want to. Sofa bed was a decent size. Extremely convenient for station and travel to do sightseeing in Paris. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast good."
